Phil is a business graduate with more than 23 years experience of the asset finance industry including over 16 years at UniLink with particular emphasis towards the Local Authority, Education, Housing and Community Transport sectors.
Phil can draw on a wide experience from working with a number of major lessors which include ILC Leasing Ltd part of the HBOS group with responsibility for pricing, residual value assessment, documentation and negotiating with the Public Sector clients.
Phil was the European Pricing Analyst for Heller Global Vendor Finance Ltd, where his responsibilities included all aspects of pricing and structuring for major ICT vendors with an annual leasing requirement of over £100 million.
Andrew is an accountant and former UK Treasurer for a FTSE 100 company. With over 25 years of asset finance experience which includes managing a £400m lease portfolio, restructuring lease portfolios and arranging new leases for both the corporate and public sector.
Andrew is responsible for new corporate business, refinancing of existing assets and is closely involved with Local Authorities and the group’s vendor finance business.
In his previous role as Manager of the Local Authority portfolio for SG Equipment Finance, in six years, Shawn oversaw the writing of approximately £200M new business volume and helped manage a portfolio of leases to more than 200 local authorities.
Shawn joined SGEF from a four year tenure at Heller Global Vendor Finance where he worked through the front office ranks of the lease payout team to supervisor of this team and finally as the European Pricing Analyst.
The previous 12 years were working for Barclays Bank Plc in a variety of roles in their retail banking sector. Shawn draws upon a wealth of experience gained from a career entirely within the Finance Sector. The skills he brings include pricing, negotiating and documenting lease contracts as well as excellent client management and communication skills.
Ian has been in the leasing industry for over 30 years undertaking a broad range of roles including sales and marketing, credit, treasury and administration. During his career he has worked for a number of lessors ranging from Lombard North Central through Girobank and GE Capital to Guinness Mahon & Co Ltd where he was Director of Leasing. Prior to joining UniLink he was Managing Director of Key Finance Ltd. His experience encompasses the corporate and public sectors, both as a finance and operating lessor. Ian has been with UniLink for 12 years and has particular responsibility for the NHS and Housing Trust sectors.

This highly experienced UniLink Associate looks at alternative ways to bring new investment to areas such as Leisure and NHS Trusts by using banks, equipment suppliers and construction companies to create a service solution for our clients. He spent over 30 years working in senior asset finance and leasing roles with a number of bank owned lessors.
This UniLink Associate has spent the majority of his career specialising in structured asset finance and the leasing industry. His principal market focus is the public sector and the rail and transportation industry. He looks at ways to improve the funding of more unusual assets for both our public sector and corporate clients.
